Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Questions to settle early
  • Dispute clause. The contract's governing law and dispute clause decide the forum. They should be checked before any step is taken.
  • Limitation. The general limitation period under the Civil Code is three years, with exceptions. Time runs while parties negotiate.
  • Assets. A judgment is only as good as the assets behind it. Asset tracing should start early.
